About

This is the website of Anton Lindström. He is a 20 year old student who lives in Skövde, Sweden. Anton is very interested in technology and especially IT but also enjoys rock climbing, photography, movies and diving. He is said to be fair, structured, and social.

Anton was born in a little village south of the largest lake of Sweden (Vänern). He was raised without much computer environment although his father is an electric engineer that has had a lot of computer oriented jobs. In the middle of the 90s Anton's family got their first computer. Anton was really into Sim City and Age of Empires in the 90s. Also worth mentioning, Anton got a few computers from his fathers work as they were out-dated. The computers were used as Anton's own little network because the Internet connection he had was an old dial-up that was almost too slow to do even the simplest tasks. He did also take time to learn more about Linux, which he fell in love with. Later, when Mr Lindström had to choose his further education (upper secondary school) he knew that he wanted to work with computers. The choice was an eye-opener for Anton. With a great data communications teacher he found his new area. The next step in education for him was the university. With an introduction from a friend Anton moved to Skövde and attended the university there. He is now educating himself to become a Systems and Network Administrator.

Anton writes about what he thinks and what he does in his Journal. It is kind of his blog. Anton does not only like computers, he likes photography, watching movies and diving as well. Anton got his first CMAS certification in 2005 and has done most of his dives in Sweden although he has done some dives in Egypt and Croatia. Mr Lindström is planning on making another trip down to Egypt but to El Gouna instead of Hurghada. Anton has a wishlist on the net for his christmas and birthday wishes.

As a sign of progress Anton now has a few Cisco CCNA certificates.
